Mitch el (Michal Elaad), raised in the southern communities of the Gaza envelope and educated in the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council, is a young and groundbreaking artist in the Israeli music scene. She writes, composes, and produces all her songs independently in her home studio bedroom.

"On October 7th, when I heard that Pepe was missing, instead of letting my imagination run wild, I thought about what might have happened to him. It gave me a little bit of peace, in all the uncertainty, to try to step into his shoes for a moment and understand what he was experiencing. I wanted answers and no one had them."

The song 'Supernova' was written in memory of her good friend Ziv "Pepe" Shapira, who was murdered in Nova.

A supernova is the final stage in the life of a star that, in an instant, collapses in on itself and creates a huge explosion in space. The song's title is a tribute to the explosion of hundreds of stars that exploded that black Saturday, in an instant and without warning.
